If I hadn't already picked up Vanished In The Mountains because it was a Tanya Stowe book I would have chosen it because of that gorgeous cover! I'm always a fan of mountain scenes and this one looks particularly chilling. It also totally matches the story, as in it is just as chilling as the whole human trafficking theme.
Something that really impressed me about Vanished In The Mountains was that Dulcie, the heroine, doesn't have it all together. She has found meaning and purpose in helping victims of abuse but sometimes those old fears and reactions come flooding back and get the best of her. This, I think, is very realistic and it was a smart move by Tanya Stowe to incorporate into the story.
I really enjoyed Vanished In The Mountains. It was romantic and also had some of the best moments of action adventure that I've read in Love Inspired Suspense so far this year. Tanya Stowe kept me glued to the page with her vivid descriptions of the Four Corners and Canyon de Chelly area, as well as with her spine-tingling suspense. If you like Love Inspired Suspense I definitely recommend adding this book to your TBR shelf...
Tell Tale Book Reviews gives Vanished In The Mountains by Tanya Stowe 4.5 Bark rating.
