Second chances at love...
Wedding stories are not usually my cup of tea, minus a few wonderful exceptions, but I picked up A Season To Wed because I'm a fan of Cheryl Wyatt's and also because I've been wanting to try Rachel Hauck. Cindy Kirk was also a new author to me.
These three stories are sweet and even a little sassy tales of second chances at romance a decade later. But these stories are about more than romance, they are also about the messiness of life and how God takes those messes, that we ourselves make and those caused by others, and makes something special out of them, and these stories are about forgiveness.
I enjoyed all three stories but have to say that I think it was Ginger's story (A Brush With Love) that resonated the most with me. At times we all struggle with feelings of unworthiness and invisibility.
A Season To Wed was a nice break from the murder and mayhem that I usually read. Three stories from three very talented authors are a must read for fans of romance and weddings. A little humor and some poignant moments only add the the flavor of this confection from Rachel Hauck, Cindy Kirk, and Cheryl Wyatt.
