I've become a confirmed fan of Mary Connealy's over the last few years but I think Fire & Ice might hold the record for my fastest reading time of one of her books. I picked it up in the evening and couldn't put it down until I finished early, early, in the morning, or rather late that same night. I've been looking forward to Bailey and Gage's story since the first book in the series, and, believe me, Fire & Ice did not disappoint. Mary Connealy is a master at writing Christian westerns. There is always comedy, mystery, and plenty of cowboys and romance. |  This Book received a 4.5 Bark rating.

I truly enjoyed Fire & Ice but I'm sorry to see the end of crazy adventures of the Wilde sisters, though, this book did nicely sew up the loose ends, including solving the mystery of what happened to Bailey during the Civil War. Gosh, I had thought I had it figured out, but nope, Mary Connealy sure surprised me on that one.
I would recommend any of Mary Connealy's books, but definitely Fire & Ice and the entire Wild At Heart series.
