Oh, what a thrilling read! I've come to expect a lot from a Susan Sleeman book, she is one of my top favorite romantic suspense authors, and it seems like each one I read only ups the game from the previous one. Of course, Cold Truth was no exception.
As with the first book in the Cold Harbor series, Cold Truth was a fairly quick read. The suspense and non-stop action making it hard to put down. Susan Sleeman is a master at crafting a story with flawed, struggling, characters, and dropping them into a chilling thrill-a-minute suspense story with plenty of romance on the side. I really enjoy stories that capture my attention on the first page and keep me breathlessly turning pages, real or virtual, and Cold Truth fits that bill.
Tell Tale Book Reviews gives Cold Truth by Susan Sleeman a Bark rating.
