Fatal Mistake is the first non Love Inspired book that I've read by Susan Sleeman. But, OH! It was so good! Maybe even better! Susan Sleeman's trademark is to drop her readers right into the action on page one and then hold them hostage until that very last page. Fatal Mistake more than lived up to expectation and I could hardly put it down. Romance, danger, a wily killer, and two people determined to catch him, all of the ingredients needed to make a wonderful and thrilling story.
I think one of my favorite things about the story is just how flawed Tara and Cal are. They are not cookie-cutter perfect in any way. They were some of the most relatable characters I've ever read about.
If you are looking for an intense and riveting read I highly recommend Fatal Mistake, the first book in Susan Sleeman's new White Knights series. I really enjoyed the book and can't wait to read the next one...
