If there is one thing Susan May Warren knows how to do well in this genre it is striking an excellent balance between suspense that feels almost like a thriller and romantic tension that you could cut with a knife. It's that wonderful balance that keeps me coming back for more like the Sky King Ranch series.
I couldn't put Sundown, well, down, even if I had wanted to, which I most certainly didn't. I just had to know where Susan May Warren was taking Colt and Tae next as they, along with the rest of the Sky King Ranch characters and some familiar faces, make wild attempt to save the world from some very determined evil people. Who could ask for more in a good book...?
