The Christmas Quilt
Quilts of Love series
by Vannetta Chapman
But so does God.
Annie’s sister-in-law Leah is due to deliver their first child before Christmas morning. Annie becomes determined to finish a crib quilt before the boppliarrives. With six weeks to go, she should have no problem . . . but God may have a different plan. Leah is rushed to the Englisch hospital when the infant arrives early. Annie discovers the Christmas quilt may hold a far greater significance than she ever imagined when she begins to tell stories to Leah, stories that coincide with the gifts of the spirit–love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
The blessings of a child.
The miracle of Christmas.

Interview with Vannetta Chapman about her brand new release
The Christmas Quilt
Actually Abingdon came to me and asked me to write a book for their Quilts of Love series. We decided a sequel to A Simple Amish Christmas would work nicely into this line.
3 months
Probably Annie. She was my first Amish character, and I do like the girl's spunk.
That everything in our lives falls under God's grace.
Have you visited the general area that this book is set in?
I chose Pennsylvania for these two books because it seemed like the most populated Amish area. I had not visited this area before I wrote A Simple Amish Christmas, but I have visited it since.
Kiptyn, the young boy Annie helps in the first book, and a character we see again in the second book is very special. While I was writing the first book, a secretary at my school had a grandchild born who was critically ill. We all spent a lot of time praying for Kiptyn. you can need more about this in the dedication page to A Simple Amish Christmas.
I'm not a very good quilter! So I asked a friend who quilts very well to look over it. She also decided to make me the quilt on the front of the book. I was stunned! Needless to say, I dedicated this book to her.
Even when we are worried and afraid, we can rest assured that God has us under his care.
