I've been reading Jessica R. Patch's books from Love Inspired Suspense for awhile now and just when I think she can't top it, she does. Dangerous Obsession is her most chilling story yet! Believe me, I couldn't put it down even if I had wanted to, which I didn't. And when the stalker's identity was revealed, well, I am usually good at guessing but this time I was totally blown away. If you love romantic suspense as much as I do this is story that you really won't want to miss....but, a friendly warning, don't expect to be able to sleep with the lights off for awhile....

Another great story from one of my favorite Love Inspired Suspense authors, Jessica R. Patch! Secret Service Setup had a little bit of everything that makes a good romantic suspense novel, danger, intrigue, betrayal, sacrifice, and of course, romance.

I really enjoyed this book, though, I will admit, I had to warm up to Evan a little bit after learning more about his past history with Jody. Both of them are flawed characters but that only made the story better and more realistic.

I love the Love Inspired Suspense line, read as many of them as I can get my hands on, but I do have some favorite authors, of which, Jessica R. Patch one of the top. She weaves tight, spine-chilling stories of romantic suspense that keep the reader engrossed and breathlessly turning pages.

If you are a fan of the author or of the Love Inspired Suspense line Deep Waters is a must read! And if you love a story featuring one of God's most interesting creatures, sea turtles, you really should check this book out!

Jessica R. Patch has quickly become one of my favorite romantic suspense authors. She takes readers hostage with the first page and doesn't release them until the last. Final Verdict was a perfect example of this. I totally couldn't put it down. Jessica R. Patch's signature non-stop action and danger with liberal amounts of romance kept me engrossed and breathlessly, desperately, trying to figure out the villain before it was too late. I truly enjoyed every minute spent reading Final Verdict and I can't wait to read what comes next from this, I hope it's a word, spine-tinglingly talented author...

1: Do you have a favorite character(s) in Concealed Identity?
Well, of course! First I adore Holt. Also, I was taken by Beckett Marsh and I just knew the minute I put him on the page he needed a story so that will be out in April. And…dare I say it but Hector Salvador. I know. I know he’s the head of a drug cartel. But he’s fascinating because of his twisted sense of family and loyalty. He is a protector and a man of his word but he’s absolutely ruthless. It’s crazy. I know.

2: What comes next for you and where do you see yourself in the future?
2017 is super busy for me in the sense of all the work I did in 2016 is coming to fruition. I have two more Love Inspired Suspense coming out in April and July. A devotional with Guideposts releasing in April, and a romantic comedy releasing with a collection and then as a standalone in March! I’m currently working on two more LIS books in a miniseries that I’m under contract for. So I’ll write them this year and they’ll release in 2018. Also my daughter is a senior this year and off to college, so I’m one less kid in the house in the future. It’s bittersweet. I hope to keep writing books as long as the Lord allows!

3: Are you a plotter or a pantser?
I started out as a pantser. I knew some but not a lot and I researched as I went and let the story freeflow. When I was contracted with Love Inspired Suspense, they expect a full synopsis on each book and they buy your book based on synospes (after the first 2 full manuscripts…you can only sell the first two with a full). So I had to learn to know my story before I write it. I’ve done that so many times now that I sort of need it when I write my indie books, though it’s more of an outline than a full synopsis when I write them. ☺

4: What is the craziest thing you've done in the name of research?
Once, I wanted to authentically know what it felt like to be blindfolded and tossed in a trunk then I wanted to see if I could count turns. So I let my friend blindfold me, tie my hands behind my back and put me in the trunk of her vehicle. She forgot she’d purchased groceries and canned goods rolled around hitting me, then she picked up speed and I lost count of turns and when it was over, I was genuinely freaked out. Can you imagine if she’d been pulled over by a police officer and he searched her car? Ha!

5: Green or pink?
Pink! Pink is my favorite color. Softer pink more than neon or fuchsia. LOVE LOVE LOVE girlie pink!

What an exciting story! Jessica R. Patch captures her readers on page one and doesn't release them until the end of the last page. Concealed Identity is a thrilling, heart-stopping, nail-biting, edge-of-your-seat, story that is sure to please Love Inspired Suspense fans. Jessica R. Patch has a real knack for dropping her readers right into the thick of things and I could barely put the book down when I read it. I kept trying to guess who could be the mastermind behind the attacks on Blair. Honestly, this is one of the absolute best Love Inspired Suspense books I've read so far. If you enjoy romantic suspense as much, or even half as much, as I do Concealed Identity is a definite must read for you.

A killer is only a breath away...

OK, so I read all of the Love Inspired Suspense books that I can get my hands on, but I have to say that Protective Duty is now one of my favorites and one of the best I've read this year. Jessica R. Patch has woven a truly chilling and spine-tingling tale of romantic suspense. And there's a dog. Yeah, as a pet-lover you totally have me as soon as a dog or cat makes an appearance. Of, course, I was actually hooked before then. The story was so engrossing that I picked up my Kindle in the late afternoon and finished by early evening. I just couldn't seem to put it down, I HAD to know if my guess about the killer's identity was correct. Romantic suspense is my favorite genre and I am definitely a fan of Jessica R. Patch's exciting stories, of which Protective Duty is an excellent example.
