Yes, I am a millennial, and yes Elvis died, or least he moved to Kokomo, IN, over a decade before I was born. But, still. This book has The King! And I loved every single song reference that Christy Barritt so cleverly wove into this fun and crazy mystery starring Gabby, whose crime scene cleaning exploits continually get her into trouble. |  This Book received a 4.5 Bark rating.

The mystery was well done with suspects galore and plenty of plot twists to keep you off guard. One of my early suspects turned out to be the villain but I was totally surprised as to the why of it all. Who would ever want to kill Elvis? Well, you'll just have to read or listen to this book to find out! Who was my favorite character you might ask? Well, it just happened to be Mrs. Mystery. She's fun, she's quirky, and she's wise. I'm also really enjoying Gabby's slow, but realistic, journey to faith. No insta-conversion here!
The audiobook was well done. The sound quality was excellent and I loved the emotion that the narrator put into her reading. She also has the perfect voice for a twenty-something young woman like Gabby. Love mysteries? Check out Suspicious Minds in Christy Barritt's zany Squeaky Clean Mysteries series.
