The Survivor
Crime Scene: Houston book 2
by DiAnn Mills
A suggestion by the media coordinator for Houston FBI. We were talking about plots, and she recommended solved cold cases for their files.
From beginning to editing ... 3 1/2 months.
Always Kariss and Tigo. I loved their spunk and ingenuity.
A challenge to attempt their dreams, no matter how impossible. If God is in the plan, He will see that person through to the end.
I love and know this city!
I look for what the names mean. Kariss means grace, and for some of the crazy stunts that she pulled, well she needed grace. Santiago means Saint James, and although he didn't always act like a saint, he was. :)
I suppose Kariss's two quirks which are the same as mine: I have too much electricity in my body and can't wear a watch ... destroy headphones and few other items that I should take credit for, and I'm petrified of dogs.
My favorite verse is Jeremiah 20:9 ESV
If I say, “I will not mention him,
or speak any more in his name,”
there is in my heart as it were a burning fire
shut up in my bones,
and I am weary with holding it in,
and I cannot.
