It's been quite awhile since the last time I read a Brandilyn Collins book. I love her stories, but, honestly, she is one of the few authors that have me leaving the light on at night and peering around corners looking for serial killers behind every door knob and keyhole. She is just THAT good!
I think Gone To Ground is my new favorite of her books. From the totally dramatic cover featuring an amaryllis flower dripping blood on the version I read to the very last page Brandilyn Collins takes readers on a thrilling and definitely spine-tingling ride. I have never finished one of her books as fast as I did Gone To Ground. While still as intense Gone To Ground focuses less on the actual murders than some of Brandilyn's other books and more on the psychological effects of a serial killer on a small town, and on the three women who are convinced they know – and are close to – the killer.
I truly enjoyed every bit of this book and trying to figure out the killer before he strikes again, which I did manage to do. Gone To Ground is great read with plenty of twists and turns that Brandilyn Collins fans are sure to love.
