Jasmine, here. I recently caught up with Cassie Wheeler and Leon Bragg from COLD CASE MANHUNT for a quick chat in a coffee shop in downtown Stone River, Idaho. They took some time away from chasing fugitives to answer a few brief questions. Here’s what they had to say…
Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
Cassie: Well, I’m definitely not shy. I’d have to say I’m an extrovert.
Leon: I try to be friendly, but mostly I just like to move around unnoticed. As much as is possible for a guy my size to go unnoticed. So, yeah, I’m more of an introvert.

Cassie: Rocky Road.
Leon: (turns to Cassie) That wasn’t one of the options.
Cassie: (shrugs) What can I say? I know what I like.
Leon: Fine. Chocolate. I like chocolate.

Okay, question for Cassie. What single thing do you most like about Leon?
Cassie: (glances at Leon with a musing expression and her head slightly tilted) I like that he thinks about other people and not just himself.

Cassie: It’s like pulling teeth to get him to dance with me. Seriously. The guy has a hard time letting his guard down and just living in the moment.

Okay Leon, now it’s your turn. What single thing do you most like about Cassie?
Leon: Everything. I like everything about her.
(Cassie appears to blush. Then, fighting to hold back a grin, she shakes her head and says, ‘Come on, play along and pick one thing.’)
Leon: I like that I don’t have to guess what she’s thinking. Because she tells me what she’s thinking. All the time.
(Cassie laughs)

(Cassie appears to blush. Then, fighting to hold back a grin, she shakes her head and says, ‘Come on, play along and pick one thing.’)

Finally, where do you two hope to be ten years from now?
(Cassie and Leon exchange glances and smiles)
Cassie: We hope to continue bounty hunting for quite a while. But at some point we’d like to work with troubled kids. Maybe even become foster parents. Leon had a tough childhood and could have used some help. As a bail bondswoman and bounty hunter, I see a lot of people who might have had completely different lives if someone had helped them when they were young. We’ve got the North Star horse ranch with plenty of room, so who knows? We’ll pray about it and let the Lord lead us.
