Usually the first book in a series will be the one I like best but I can tell you that of the first two Cold Case Investigators novels is that one for me. Well, at least for now...I may change my mind when I get to read book three. Cold Case Double Cross was an intense puzzle to try and solve alongside Mae and Cash. It was a riveting read and almost impossible to put down. I kept sneaking a page here and a chapter there even when I was supposed to be doing other things. Jessica R. Patch kept me guessing and she even sidetracked me a few times from my initial beliefs as to the killer's identity. |  This Book received a 5 Bark rating.

Love Inspired Suspense is my favorite line from this particular large publisher. Books like Cold Case Double Cross, series like Cold Case Investigators, and authors like Jessica R. Patch are the reasons why. They have all of the romantic suspense my heart could desire in a small 224ish page package. Fast and easy reads that are also fast-paced and exciting, you can't go wrong in choosing one. If you are reading this review for advice, may I suggest Cold Case Double Cross be your next Love Inspired Suspense read from Jessica R. Patch. You don't want to miss it...
