Seriously, it's up there on my list of favorite Love Inspired Suspense reads for this year... Cold Case Killer Profile was a gritty and intense read for such a small book, only 220+ pages, but that is something that, not only does Jessica R. Patch continuously deliver, but she seems to amp it a little more each and every book. As good as this one was, I can not wait to get my hands on the third Quantico Profilers novel. |  This Book received a 5 Bark rating.

When I first started Cold Case Killer Profile I was a little surprised when I discovered that Jessica R. Patch had used one of my, albeit secret, favorite tropes that is rarely used outside of historical romance and Gothic romance – that is the distinct age gap between hero and heroine. Boy does it cause problems for this Love Inspired Suspense hero and heroine, but, you know that by the end of the story they will somehow work things out...
The Quantico Profilers series has been really great reading that keeps me on the edge of my seat and carefully analyzing the clues to see if my hunches are correct. And, Jessica R. Patch is a good one for my guesses to be right...and wrong...at the same time...Cold Case Killer Profile certainly had a few of those surprises come my way...
Now? Now, I play the waiting game for the next release...
