Well, now...Despite being the second book in the Hearts Of Montana series, Love's Mountain Quest managed to surprise me. Sure, Misty M. Beller's trademark plot device of a couple traveling through the wilderness together and gradually falling in love is very much present. But. There is so much more to the rest of the story....

I enjoyed the differences and similarities of Love's Mountain Quest equally and the combination made for some likable characters, well, at least the good guys were, the bad guys most definitely were not, and an all around good read. As to the main characters, Joanna is one strong lady and I liked her pretty quickly, and Isaac, well, he has some things to work through before he can find the peace and redemption he is longing for.

I've enjoyed reading the Heart Of Montana series so far. Author Misty M. Beller does well with this style of historical romance and you can't help but want to read the next book just as I did with this one...
