*Sigh* Much like a long chapter, On The Wings Of A Whisper had everything necessary to make a great adventurous historical romance. A strong and handsome hero with a job to do, a lovely heroine on a mission who happens to get into trouble regularly, intrigue and danger, a hidden family secret, and the exotic landscape of the Dark Continent in one of the most exciting periods in history. One of the things I really loved about this book is that actually reminded me much of the Heart Of India series by one of my favorite authors.
Lynnette Bonner's has me hooked on this serial and very anxiously waiting for the next part in the story. And by anxiously waiting I mean there was a bit of a cliffhanger there at the end...and I HAVE to know what comes next!
