I've never really read a spy thriller before, at least to the best of my recall, but when one of my favorite authors, A.J. Terry, came out with the Agent Ko Spy Thriller series I, of course, gave the genre a try. There is just something about Ko that keeps me coming back, even though I know at least some of where she ends up. I can't help but root for her and want things to work out well for her even though the things she faces and detestable choices that she must make, or die, would normally make her a villain in my book. But I just can't help being sympathetic to her plight! That should tell you right there just how amazingly talented A.J. Terry is as a writer.
In Simulation readers go with Ko as she faces unimaginable circumstances and tests in the effort to reach Zenith at the academy. While not a strictly a Christian fiction book seeds of Christianity are planted in Ko's life, seeds that readers will wonder if it is even possible to grow. Simulation is a quick intense read that left me, and will leave you, gasping and anxiously looking for the next book.
