Half historical romance and half dystopian, author Keely Brooke Keith has brand of Christian fiction all her own. Uncharted Hope is my 5th journey back to the mysterious place called The Land, an island that has been virtually untouched by outside influences since the first people landed there in the early 1860s.
I think this was probably my favorite book so far in the Uncharted Series. I genuinely liked Sophia, a girl determined to rise above her dysfunctional family's low expectations, Nicholas, a young man of strength and integrity who is determined to win her, and Bailey, a young woman who has survived the end of the world as everyone knew it but still manages to not be completely jaded. It was Bailey's part of the story that I more than likely enjoyed the most, through her eyes we finally get to find out more about the world forever altered by war and plague. A world that is almost frighteningly familiar, and yet not.
Uncharted Hope was another great installment in Keely Brooke Keith's intriguing Uncharted Series and I really can't wait to read the next book so I can find out what is in store for The Land and the world surrounding it.
