Solve By Christmas was such a fun, quirky, holiday mystery to read. In addition Amber Schamel has captured a slice of Denver history during a time of great Industrial change and upheaval among the working class.
Solve By Christmas is a slim book and I finished it pretty much in one sitting on a rather quiet afternoon. I was quite amused by the sometimes snarky banter between Jasper and several of the other characters. But it was the threads of hope and faith that Amber Schamel wove throughout Jasper's journey that caught my attention the most. Jasper may have thought he was trying to save Mr. Rudin's life but just maybe God has a few lessons for Mr. Jasper Hollock as well.
