Over the years I've watched more VeggieTales as an adult than I did as a kid. My appreciation for the animation, fun stories, and crazy song lyrics has only grown. So, I just couldn't resist this cute Easter tale featuring a snow storm, a robot bunny, some funny jokes about all of the TV music competitions, and yes, was that really Bob the Tomato sporting a stereotypical pastor/priest haircut? The Passion: A Brickfilm was one of the most imaginative short films that I've ever seen. The clever use of outdoor tableau style scenes featuring Lego® characters, enhanced by touches of animation, and the utilization of sound effects and background music was pretty impressive. Kudos to Brickfilm for making a movie about the Resurrection, one that elicits strong emotion without traumatization, that families can sit down and watch together...
