What a delightfully sweet romance! This is the first book I've read by Jessica Keller and I thoroughly enjoyed every page. But Small-Town Girl isn't just a fluffy romance novel, both Kendall and Brice are two very flawed characters whose backstories and emotions will strongly resonate with many readers.

Forgiveness is a strong theme in Small-Town Girl. I also liked how Jessica Keller portrayed love as more than grand gestures but is sticking it out together through the tough times and that when it feels like God has abandoned us, it is usually we that have moved away from Him.

​I don't usually read a lot of straight romances but I'm glad I read this one. Jessica Keller's latest Goose Harbor story, Small-Town Girl, is a great afternoon's read.
