turns into a fight for their lives.
Character Interview with Ariel Potter
from Alaskan Rescue by Terri Reed
Hi, I'm Ariel Potter. I breed champion Alaskan husky sled dogs and own a small kennel on the outskirts of Anchorage, Alaska. Growing up, I lived in a lot of places. My parents were nomads who followed the sled dog racing circuit and trained dogs for mushers around the globe. After college, I settled in Anchorage and started my business. My best college friend Violet James has asked me to be her bridesmaid in her upcoming wedding and we’ve been doing all sorts of pre-wedding adventures.
The one thing I can't do without is my dogs. My dogs are my companions, my best friends and my guardians. I have a new puppy named Sasha that I’m hoping to breed, he’s just the cutest.
One of my biggest fears is something happening to my dogs and my friends. I don’t have many friends, really only Violet. I also fear that I'll be a failure in love, so I think not falling in love is probably the best idea. Fear seems to be a constant in my life.
If I could change something about myself, it would be my inability to say no. I’m a people pleaser and often find myself taking on more then I should.
The most important thing to me is been respected for the person I am and not just my accomplishments.
My greatest strength is my loyalty, and my greatest weakness is my fear of not being perfect.
From my story, I hope people will see that having faith in God and others, like a hunky Alaskan state trooper and his K-9, will get you through the difficult times.
