I’m blessed to be only a state away from extended family. My hubby, kids and I spend Christmas Eve and Christmas day together, then we travel for a few days to Michigan to have fun with our parents and siblings. When we return, we’re stuffed from all the good food!
Last month I was blessed to contribute to the inspirational romance collection, I’ll Be Home for Christmas, with Belle Calhoune, Alle Pleiter and Lenora Worth—all multi-published authors of Love Inspired romance novels. The collection features four novellas for only 99 cents! If you love Hallmark Christmas movies as much as I do, give it a try!
My novella, Sugarplums and Second Chances is set in fictional Lake Endwell, Michigan, and features Chase McGill who was a minor character in Hometown Hero’s Redemption.
Former NFL star, Chase McGill, invites his teammate's widow, Courtney Trudesta, to spend Christmas in his guest cottage after her mother dies. Courtney faithfully wrote him letters every week while he was in prison for attempting to avenge the murder of the mother of his son, Wyatt. Chase wants to be there for Courtney the way she was for him. But there's more to Christmas than sugarplums and wishful thinking. If they trust God's plan, they'll have a second chance at happiness...with each other.
