What a great introduction to this delightfully sweet romance series! And you just can't go wrong with a story featuring cowboys AND a dash of danger and intrigue.
Cowboy Charming
Of the two I have listened to so far I think this one was my favorite – I loved the twist on the old Cinderella fairytale! Definitely an enchanting and romantic story!
The Toad Prince
The title is perfect because the hero really starts out as a toad! But a sweet Texas gal totally changes his mind...and heart. This book is charming addition to the series!
The Beastly Princess
I think this was the story I was waiting for, to finally find out more about the disagreeable sister and the cowboy that would win her heart. And what an endearing story it was!
The Lost Princess
At long last readers/listeners get to find out about the missing princess and the cop who loves her. I enjoyed this one a lot because of the strong suspense thread!
Overall
This collection is a fun escape from the humdrum of everyday life and into the world of princesses and knights in Stetsons, not shining armor. Each one is a fairly quick read, or as in my case, listen.
I listened to the audiobook version of Cowboy Fairytales: The Complete Collection and I really enjoyed it. The narration was good, in fact, the same person narrated the entire collection which lent an air of continuity.
Sweet cowboy romance with a dash of whimsy and suspense. If you are looking for a good, clean, read or listen with a touch of faith, definitely check out this neat series from Lacy Williams.
Tell Tale Book Reviews gives Cowboy Fairytales: The Complete Collection by Lacy Williams a 4 Bark rating.
