I had a great time reading A Lady In Disguise, trying to guess who the villain or villains were, puzzling out motivations, and reveling in the misty and secretive atmosphere of 1880's Britain. As much as I was able to figure out some things there were still plenty of surprises that kept me intrigued and engrossed.
A Lady In Disguise is only the second book I've read by this author, the other being book one in this series, but I was quite pleased to find that they can be read standalone. Now I can't wait to read book two, because, believe me, I don't intend to stop with only these two titles. Sandra Byrd definitely has me hooked!
