A Reckless Love was all that I had anticipated, however, Beth White still had a few surprises in store for me. But it's the unexpected that makes a book good and worth reading. It was fun to check in with old friends from the previous books, to find out what those strong-willed girls from The Daughtry House were up to, and it was nice to finally find out the truth behind it all.
I actually read A Reckless Love a few months ago but I've struggled with the right words for my review. I had a pretty strong reaction to the story, because, at the time it released our country was facing hate-fueled riots and violence just like Beth White's characters were. Needless to say it was a bit eerie. But, it was also a good reminder through fiction that no matter what God was, and still is, above it all and He is in control. And, even now, as things continue to be uncertain it is a thought, and a prayer, that we should all hold onto.
Tell Tale Book Reviews gives A Reckless Love by Beth White a 4 Bark rating.
