So, I've read a couple of Rachel Dylan's previous books, and very much enjoyed them, but I think that Deadly Proof is definitely my new favorite. Sometimes legal fiction can get a bit dry, and while a lot goes on in and around the courtroom, Rachel Dylan kept me riveted to the page with plenty of action and never a dull moment. I just couldn't put it down!
In addition to an intriguing suspense story Deadly Proof also has some great characters. Kate and Landon are flawed, dealing with issues that many Christians do but don't admit to. But each of them also has something that the other is looking for...
I'll also say that as a reader, with thankfully no real courtroom experience, I loved learning some of the details on how these types of cases are handled.. The author's own real-life law career lends an air of authenticity that makes the story even more chillingly believable. Deadly Proof is legal suspense at its best and is a story that shouldn't be missed!
