A thrilling conclusion to a great suspense series! I have been looking forward to Desperate Measures since I turned the last page of Blind Trust, the hardest part was WAITING for it to come out. Just when I thought I had figured out exactly who was guilty and who was innocent Sandra Orchard would throw me another curveball. There were more twists and turns in this book than in a Chutes & Ladders game! I really got into the story and sometimes just wanted to shake some sense in Kate and Tom. They kept hiding things from each other and I just wanted to yell “No, no, you need to talk to each other!” The characters felt like friends and I was sorry to say goodbye to them when I turned that last page. I can't wait to see what Sandra Orchard will be working on next. |
