Finding Margo
Finding Home book 1
by Jen Turano
-From the back cover- Off the charts and on the run. International pop star Margo Hartman could use a night off. A grueling tour and overbearing entourage have sent her over the edge. It's time for this diva to disappear. And who would think to look for a superstar in a small town in Ohio? Sheriff's deputy Brock Moore is undercover as well. He knows Margo isn't who she appears to be, but her uncanny resemblance to a local Amish woman is raising all sorts of questions . . . the kinds that make her a target for a killer. Both are determined to find answers, but their mutual attraction stands in the way of either of them doing it alone. Is finding Margo the solution to Brock's problems or just the beginning . . . ? Past & present collide in Amish country I fell in love with her quirky and fun historical romances several years ago so a new Jen Turano book was all I needed to hear to get excited. Then I read the back cover blurb and really knew that I HAD to read it! Needless to say, now that I have read it I am anxiously awaiting the next book in the Finding Home series. Finding Margo was different and yet so much the same; like finding favorite flowers in a different garden. I quickly discovered that Finding Margo wasn't quite sure what genre it wanted to be: part romantic comedy, part suspense, and part Amish. But as expected, Jen Turano handled the marriage of genres perfectly and seamlessly. | This Book received a 5 Bark rating. |
I have loved every Jen Turano book that I've read and Finding Margo was no exception. It truly is a fun, funny, romantic, and exciting story with some wonderfully quirky characters and dastardly villains. If you love her historicals you definitely HAVE to read this one! It is a truly delightful and satisfying read!
