Labyrinth Of Lies
A Triple Threat Novel book 2
by Irene Hannon
-From Goodreads- When the daughter of a high-profile businessman disappears from an exclusive girls' boarding school, police detective Cate Reilly is tapped for an undercover assignment. It doesn't take her long to realize that beneath the veneer of polish and wealth, things are not as they seem at Ivy Hill Academy. But the biggest surprise of all? The only man she ever loved is also working at the school. Zeke Sloan has never forgotten Cate, but now isn't the best time for their paths to cross again. When their two seemingly disparate agendas begin to intertwine--and startling connections emerge among the players--the danger escalates significantly. But who is the mastermind behind the elaborate ruse? And how far will they go to protect their house of cards? Queen of romantic suspense Irene Hannon invites you to scale the heights of human folly and plumb the depths of the human heart in this second gripping book in the Triple Threat series. ISBN-13: 9780800736187 Can they unravel the lies before it's too late? I've been looking forward to reading Labyrinth Of Lies since reading the first Triple Threat Novel last year. That one quickly became my favorite Irene Hannon novel of all so I had high hopes for this one. Point Of Danger is still my favorite but Labyrinth Of Lies was great too! It was a strong addition to the Triple Threat series and was an equally riveting read, once again proving that Irene Hannon is a master of her craft. | This Book received a 4.5 Bark rating. |
Labyrinth Of Lies really is the perfect title for this book. Irene Hannon delivers many twists and turns in this second book in the Triple Threat series and she really keeps you guessing. I did figure out the villainous mastermind as soon as they were introduced so I wasn't surprised when they were revealed about ¾ of the way through, but, there were some other characters that I really wondered about the depth of their involvement.
If you've never read any of Irene Hannon's books I highly recommend trying out her Triple Threat Novels. You can read them standalone though they are better read in order. If you have already read Point Of Danger I'd tell you to stop dilly-dallying and get to reading Labyrinth Of Lies...
Tell Tale Book Reviews gives Labyrinth Of Lies by Irene Hannon a 4.5 Bark rating.
