Ya know, I think Lone Star Standoff just may be my favorite book in the Lone Star Justice series. I just couldn't seem to put it down and I finished it in record time for a Margaret Daley book. I loved the danger, the mystery, and of course, the romance. I had a lot of fun trying to guess the who and the why, and boy, did Margaret Daley really keep me guessing! I did figure out one identity but, wow, did she surprise me with all kinds of twists and turns. Looking for an exciting story with edge-of-your-seat romantic suspense, a story that you can read in fairly short order?
