I will admit that couple of characterizations made me a tad uncomfortable BUT I absolutely loved Poison, quickly becoming emotionally invested in the characters lives, and on tenterhooks as to the outcome. Each book can be read standalone but the stories are intertwined enough that I totally can't wait to read book three in this series.
