Random Acts Of Murder
A Holly Anna Paladin Mystery book 1
by Christy Barritt
-From the back cover- When Holly Anna Paladin is given a year to live, she embraces her final days doing what she loves most – random acts of kindness. But one of her extreme good deeds goes horribly wrong, implicating Holly in a string of murders. Holly is suddenly in a different kind of fight for her life. Only two other people know Holly was at the site of the murder, and one of them is the killer. Making matters stickier is the fact that the detective assigned to the case is her old high school crush and present day nemesis. The clock is ticking as Holly is forced to play a dangerous game. Will Holly find the killer befor he ruins what's left of her life? Or will she spend her final days alone and behind bars? It wasn't the really cool cover that caught my attention and made me want to read this story, but rather it was partly the title and definitely the back cover blurb. The whole premise of a young woman with only a short time to live trying to catch a killer before he decides to knock her off was positively intriguing. I really liked this book, no doubt about it. I've been a mystery/suspense/romantic suspense fan for years and Random Acts Of Murder was right down that alley. I spent my time trying to figure out who the killer was and I even had a guess pretty quickly but Christy Barritt took me on some twists and turns which left me questioning and wondering. | This Book received a 4 Bark rating. |
Random Acts Of Murder will pull you in, take you on a wild ride, and at the end leave you begging for more. I really can't wait until I get the chance to read a book two in this series.
