-From the back cover- The Gift Of Forgiveness Gavin Sawyer knows he's in trouble the moment he meets Evie Thorne at the downtown Denver mission where they both volunteer. He's drawn to the pretty journalist, even though reporters have caused him nothing but heartache in the past. Soon Gavin begins to let his guard down as he sees that this wonderful woman may be someone he can trust with his heart. Burt when he brings her home to meet his family during the holidays, Evie's secret past suddenly comes to light. Will their new-found love survive when he learns the truth? A sweet Holiday romance! I enjoyed this little easy and quick-to-read story. Themes of forgiveness, responsibility, and family are woven throughout. The title of the book really says it all, Season Of Hope. Evie made some big mistakes in her past while trying to climb the newspaper ladder and now she spends her time trying to atone for those mistakes. Yes, she believes but still the old fears and mistakes haunt her. And then she meets Gavin at a finance committee meeting for a charity.... Gavin feels responsible for the death of someone important in his life, now he tries to save the world by fighting disease. Yes, he believes but he can't stop trying to be superman and save everyone. And then he meets Evie when she joins the Mission finance committee.... | . . This Book earned a 3.5 Bark rating. . Visit Virginia's Facebook Page HERE |
