This story is truly a tale of second chances, at love, at so many things, and of stepping out of the pain and mistakes of the past, all wrapped up in the sparkling delight of Christmastime. While I haven't read any of the other Lake Endwell stories it didn't dim my enjoyment of this holiday romance one little bit.
If you are wanting to step out of the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season for a little bit, to escape the real ice and snow outside, and fall in love with some really sweet characters, you should check out Jill Kemerer's enchanting little novella, Sugarplums And Second Chances.
