My Review

I've always enjoyed coloring and coloring books. I've never been terribly good at drawing my own so even as a kid I loved those books filled with illustrations from Barbie and Lisa Frank to Bible stories, all begging to be filled by my color crayons. Now, as an adult, I still keep the biggest box of crayons I can find, along with smaller packs of metallics and sparkle crayons. I've changed, a little bit at least, in the things I like to color as well. The quilt designs in the Amish Quilts Coloring Book were perfect! I come from a line of quilters and it was a lot of fun pouring through my crayon box to select just the right colors and creating my own mini-quilt on paper. Rachel J. Good's designs are fun, the lines are easy to follow, and the final product is a work of art, if I do say so myself. Another neat thing about this book is that each coloring page has an Amish proverb, each one a definite word of wisdom. So, grab your pencils, pens, markers, or if you are extra patient your crayons, take some time out to relax and enjoy this great coloring book!

Rachel J. Good, inspirational author, writes life-changing, heartfelt novels of faith, hope, and forgiveness. She is the author of Amish romances in the Sisters & Friends series.
