While not something I could ever train for, forensics and forensic anthropology have long fascinated me. Sami A. Abrams did a great job satisfying that somewhat morbid fascination through her heroine's occupation.
As debut novels go, Buried Cold Case Secrets was an excellent one! I couldn't really tell that Sami A. Abram's hasn't been publishing with Love Inspired Suspense for years. Yes, I did guess the villain, probably from having read too many Agatha Christie's as a teenager, but the author tossed in enough surprises and tension-filled moments to keep things from getting even the teensiest bit dull.
I would have no hesitation recommending Buried Cold Case Secrets to any Love Inspired Suspense fan. It was everything I've come to expect from the line and I am really looking forward to reading more from Sami A. Abrams in the future...
