I really liked book two in the Natchez Trace Park Rangers series, I still need to read book one, and I enjoy Patricia Bradley's romantic suspense so it naturally followed that I would want to read this one as well. |  This Book received a 4 Bark rating.

Crosshairs had some of my favorite elements ever for both mysteries and romantic suspense alike. Centuries old family secrets, lost diaries, a mysterious murder, and multiple suspects with a lot to lose and everything to gain if our heroine and hero are eliminated from the equation. Patricia Bradley certainly did this story up right with lots of suspects, motives galore, red herrings and wild goose chases, and some pretty twisted twists and turns that included a few unexpected surprises.
Crosshairs kept me guessing and second guessing as to exactly who done what and why they did it. I did figure some things out, I even kept doggedly suspecting one person of guilt only I wasn't sure exactly what they did...until they up and did it surprisingly close to the end. Seriously, Patricia Bradley doesn't let up on her characters or her readers from the very first page until the very last. Danger, intrigue, romance, and drama pack this story and don't back down... Who knew the Natchez Trace Park Rangers, or at leas the fictional ones, have it so exciting?! Of course, you'll just have to read this book for yourself to find out HOW exciting that is...
