I'm a little embarrassed to say that it it's actually been a little while since reading Port Of Origin. Not that it wasn't a good story, no, quite to the contrary. But there's nothing quite like reading about an epidemic right in the middle of a pandemic... Seriously, though, as with the rest of the Agents Of Mercy stories this one was both highly relevant to the world today and just flat out intense. You see, Lisa Harris and Lynne Gentry are really, really good at hard-hitting Christian suspense that ratchets up the tension and drama...
There's so much in Port Of Origin that I can't even begin to unpack it all in a short review. Suffice it to say this second Agents Of Mercy book packed just as much punch as the first. Though fiction from the minds of two of Christian romantic suspense's best minds, this story was thought-provoking in every way and it really opened my eyes about a thing or two. Easily ripped from tomorrow's headlines this book was a little edgy, a little gritty, and very good, I would definitely recommend the entire series from Lisa Harris and Lynne Gentry...
