And there was adventure! Of all the Uncharted books that I've read so far this one had the most action and danger and I loved it! Finally readers get to find out more about the Land, the gray leaf tree, and the strange things that inhabit the unsettled areas of the mountains. And I tell you, as a person who lives in the mountains, I am so glad I've never seen anything like this stuff! But that was what made Uncharted Destiny such fun to read! I'm a fan of adventure stories from way back, since my dad read Treasure Island to my brother and I when we were kids.
Then there's the emotional side of the story. Revel Roberts (I just love that name!) and Bailey Colburn are both struggling with guilt, for both things they've done and things beyond their control. But they just might find a new perspective as they travel on a dangerous rescue mission.
Keely Brooke Keith is just so good at this kind of story! Both blending and bending genres in a way that is sure to captivate. If you've enjoyed the previous Uncharted stories you absolutely have to try this one!
