Did I say that one or both of the previous books in the Cold Case Investigators series was the best? Well, I obviously was wrong because Yuletide Cold Case Cover-Up most certainly is the best. Jessica R. Patch more than outdid herself with this book! The tension and drama and danger were all ratcheted up to new heights and no matter how real life intruded I just couldn't seem to put my e-reader down. For some reason I really liked the romance between Poppy and Rhett. They couldn't be more opposite and yet they have more similarities than either would want to admit. The two thrive on snark and the tension between them...or is that just a cover for something else entirely? |  This Book received a 4.5 Bark rating.

Or rather, WHEN you grab a copy of the third Cold Case Investigators book. If you ask me, you can never go wrong with a riveting Jessica R. Patch novel...
