After years of fighting for Chad’s release, Jennifer finally breaks free from her shame, anger, and hopelessness, and forges ahead with the dream the two of them once shared. With the help of their college-aged twins, she begins to move forward.
Without Chad.
When their lawyer arrives with news of evidence that may prove Chad’s innocence, a strange mixture of emotions overtakes her. Does she want Chad to return home? He isn’t the same man he once was, and she certainly isn’t the same woman. She’s worked hard to piece the remnants of their family back together, and his coming home could fracture the family once again.
It all comes down to one question. She loves her husband enough to fight for his release from prison, but does she love him enough to fight for their marriage?

Jenn slammed on the brakes. Her heart pumping faster than the car had been moving, she glanced around to see what had caused Chloe to yell.
Behind her, an impatient driver honked, so Jenn pulled off on the side of the road. Then she turned to her daughter, who opened the door, letting steamy air inside.
“Didn’t you see it, Mom? Jase?” Chloe reached up to the front passenger seat and tugged an earbud from her brother’s ear. She pointed down the street. “Look!”
Both Jenn and Jason followed where Chloe pointed. A handful of empty brick storefronts. The main drag through town, albeit a small town, was not exactly where she wanted to live, but she’d humor her dramatic daughter.
“What’s your problem?” Jason tugged out his other earbud, obviously in no mood to humor his sister.
“There’s nothing here but a bunch of ragtag buildings.”
“You have no imagination.” Chloe stepped out of the car and slammed the door.
“Come on, Jason. You know she won’t leave us alone until we see what she’s excited about.”
He groaned. “You don’t want to live here, do you?”
