The fur flies when a smart Siamese cat goes undercover and Hayley Mills and Dean Jones team up for mystery, adventure, and wild comedy on Disney DVD. When the irrepressible and always hungry D.C. (Darn Cat) turns up with a wristwatch for a collar, it becomes a tip-off to an unsolved robbery and kidnapping. You don't know who's tailing who as nosy neighbors, jealous boyfriends, and a highly allergic FBI agent play a game of cat and mouse to crack the baffling case.
Does it get any more classic Disney than Hayley Mills? That adorable pint-sized blonde charmed us from Pollyanna, double in The Parent Trap, through her teenage years in The Moon-Spinners, and of course, one of her best, That Darn Cat! I've loved this movie since I saw it at twelve or thirteen and payday meant picking a movie at the rental and pizza.
Every-so-once-in-awhile I'll drag my DVD copy out and sit back for some laugh-out-loud family fun. Personally, I don't think I'll ever grow, or age, out of this movie. There's plenty of fun in That Darn Cat! for the whole family and it's a great one to watch over and over.
