Fallout. That pretty much sums up this episode of Vindication Season 2. In the previous episode Precinct 1 and Precinct 2 both decided to run sting operations on the same night and there were some shocking arrests. Episode 9 deals with the Fallout from those arrests, and it's pretty much nuclear.
This episode of Vindication may only be 34 minutes in length but it's a pretty powerful 34 minutes with a lot to unpack. All of the regular cast have some major stuff to deal with as a direct result of the arrests. Grief and loss. The consequences of sin. And, most importantly, forgiveness and redemption.
My all adult family has been really following this show. All of us have become totally invested in the 'people' of East Bank and in between episodes we are constantly tossing ideas and scenarios back and forth about what has happened and might happen next. Vindication takes on some pretty tough and culturally relevant topics making it a show you can watch and enjoy with your teens.
Fallout was a surprising, a very good, and a thought-provoking episode. I almost wanted to sniffle a couple of times while watching it and it sure got us talking. But, like all of the episodes of Vindication it ended on a cliffhanger...now I have to wait a whole entire massively long week to get some answers...
Tell Tale Book Reviews gives Vindication: Season 2 Episode 9 - Fallout a 5 Bark rating.
